Hand-crafted decorative art inspired by natural materials of the Scottish countryside, designed by a local Stonehaven-based artist.

With love for craftsmanship and design.

The writing was on the wall, when at the age of eleven, using her father’s hand drill, and the contents of her piggy bank, Liz made a ‘coin necklace’. Despite it’s monetary value only being thirty-four pence, and the bedroom floor acquiring a few holes, it heralded the beginnings of unique and original creativity.

In the following years, Liz developed a keen interest in Visual Merchandising, prompting her to do a two year ‘Visual Merchandising and Design’ course. Throughout the course, Liz proved herself to be imaginative in her design concepts, but it was the prop making she really loved.

She went on to design and install the window displays for a chain of independent shops. From gigantic apples, to frozen lakes and igloos, many of the props Liz made fifteen years ago, are still in use today.

Since having her children, Liz has been at home, working on the family farm. Between looking after the children, and sheep, and the tractor work, she has continually been making things. Inspired by, and utilising natural materials from the nearby coastline, surrounding hills, and her own farmyard, she has developed ‘Exclusively Liz’.

Her range of beautifully made items is a focus of attention in any location.
